KEYMACRO is a simple utility that is intended to help you quickly and easily access the keystrokes defined in a keyboard map (keyboard layout) you have already set.
KEYMACRO's functionality enables you to run the same commands by the use of a specific combination of keyboard keys.
KEYMACRO saves a sequence of commands in an easy-to-use list that you can choose from.
KEYMACRO allows you to define various keyboard layouts that the software can switch to with a single click.
In addition, you can select the command set you need depending on the application you're using.
To select the command set, simply select the command set's file or directory in the KEYMACRO software application.
The main features of this utility are:
- Display a single keystroke to be repeated (by pressing only the desired key)
- Keyboard configuration for a single user
- Display the last keystroke performed
- Configuration of custom keyboard layouts (all of the installed keyboard layouts)

The help window shows the current functions and options. The settings can be changed using the buttons or the tool bar. The following descriptions are based on the default settings. You can choose to display the default settings.
The settings screen has three main categories:
- Preferences: contains the settings that control the program. The program may be executed from the menu, or by using the hotkey (default is F2).
